This Ginaf was full speed on the highest part of the race circuit in Valkenswaard. By cutting the corner a little too much the truck fell on its left side right in front of me. After driver and codrivers came out healthy, I made this picture. As the crew and the truck had no specific damage this was a great moment in yesterdays rally.

The Ginafs in the Van Ginkel team are one by one beauties. With their CAT engines and the separate wheel technics they are really extreme. As you can see on this stitch of pictures Wuf was very fast on the track in Valkenswaard. His teammate Anne Kies even had his Ginaf crashed on the track. the truck fell on its left side and it took the dutch army an hour to have it back on the track again!

DAF 3300 The Bull Paris-Dakar 1985, Jan de Rooij, Son, The Netherlands
This Daf brings back good old memories. The Daf joined the real Dakar rally in 1985. Up until the last racde the truck was positioned number one. In the last race the truck was too big and had to go through the african savanne with a lot of damage. Since this year the truck has a new cab and bumper etc. and is restored as a unique truck. In Valkenswaard the truck was shown to the audience after rebuilding. Great and very nice to see this truck on the track again! In 1985 it already had 1000hp!

This is a very nice Mercedes. It looks like a combi of old elements used in a new truck. The truck has a typical sound. The engine originally was a little bit more than 300hp. Currently the Mercedes has over 600hp!
