Next to my American Truck Pictures site (mackmuppet) I have decided to create an extra blog for the European Truck Pictures.
Welcome to the Blog with pictures of the most beautiful European Trucks. In this Blog I will try to give an overview of European Trucks driving around. Scania's, DAFs, Volvo's and other trucks from especially Europe old and new will be shown and added to this log to give a complete overview and impression of the European trucks. If you have any additional information, pictures, prints or documentation, please send a reaction via one of my messages and I will add it, after contacting you by mail.
A Volvo NL 12 is rare to find already again. This one originally belonged to Schluchter in Courgenay and was in The Netherlands for export trade. With the heavy chassis it was a nice truck for this picture.
This is a DAF G1600 that has a buschassis. The DAF originates from 1969 and has a self made grille. Three years ago it was still in Heeze, together with another bus. Since that time the parking is gone and houses appeared overthere. The DAF still exists, but it is not familiar to me where it went.
A unique truck is this Volvo 485 with a sleeper cab. It is owned by Henk Hoek in Maarssen. The Hoek brothers have quite some oldtimers; Volvos, DAF, FTF and some others.
Wolst has this concrete truck for quite some years already. The Scania L55 originates from 1960 and is really showing the mixer elements too of those years. A very nice oldtimer!
Although the picture is not great, it shows at least the other DAF DO that I saw. For years the trucks were already parked in Ravels, but since at least 5 years the trucks are parked in Lommel, Belgium.
